1907 Bozeman Birdseye

This is a rare 1907 birdseye map of Bozeman, Montana Territory, looking south toward Montana State College. The artist is Merritt Houghton (1846-1918). Architect’s Wife also has 3 birdseye views by Henry Wellge (1850-1917). Wellge produced a 1883 birdseye view of Livingston, Montana Territory, looking south toward the Gates of the Mountains. He produced a 1883-84 birdseye view of Bozeman, Montana Territory, looking east toward Bozeman Pass. He also produced a 1904 chromolithograph birdseye view of Yellowstone National Park looking south toward the Tetons. These 4 birdseye views are all reproduced in fine detail. They are thought provoking and make exceptional décor pieces.
